King Charles III, born in 1948, became the UK monarch upon Queen Elizabeth II's death in 2022 at age 73, making him the oldest person to uphold the throne. As the longest-serving heir-apparent, he was crowned in May 2023. Known for his environmental advocacy, organic farming, and supporting charities through The Prince's Trust, Charles has focused on sustainability and community. He married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981, having sons William and Harry before divorcing, and married Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.
